I run my own platform as Dr. Raven the Science Maven, over 650,000 followers and tens of millions of views, where science gets to be joyful, rigorous, culturally fluent, and unforgettable. Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai
I co-authored the first United States clinical manual for infection-associated chronic illnesses, spanning Long COVID, myalgic encephalomyelitis, and post-treatment Lyme. Adopted by more than 5,000 clinicians, patients, and caregivers in its first month.
Reagan-Udall Foundation for the Food and Drug Administration
I developed the curriculum and lesson content for this free vaccine education resource, five modules and sixteen lessons with more than thirty videos on how immunity works, aligned with the Next Generation Science Standards.
I’ve also trained federal executives on talking about vaccines with the public, advised the Reagan-Udall Foundation for the Food and Drug Administration on culturally responsive science communication, and participated in White House National Space Council roundtables.
